Whether it is the internet, mobile telephones or podcasts, the emergence of new broadcasting channels forces broadcasters to offer more options.
Thanks to the Radio-Assist 8 multi-platform publication tool, your content can be distributed across the channels of your choice with one click.

Selecting content and publication channels

To select content for publication, just drag and drop from the database to the basket in the Publication tab. The content may comprise audio, video, text or image files indiscriminately. One or more publication channels can then be chosen for a single basket.
The Publication tab then automatically takes care of publication, on the basis of the distribution targets and publication rules. It is also possible to re-publish a particular document manually at any time.
The Publication tab uses templates to produce presentations that perfectly match the company corporate style.

Automatic encoding and managing related data

Depending on the distribution channels selected, the Publication tab automatically encodes files into the necessary formats following predefined publication rules, and deals with publishing related data. Users also have the option to schedule programme/broadcast recordings at the same time as they are scheduled for the station. Files thus generated are automatically published on the basis of predefined rules.
The idea is to automate technical tasks to the maximum so that users can concentrate on creating content.

Publication monitoring

The publication monitoring interface gives users information on the publication status for each distribution channel - publication in progress, already published, etc.

Versatility

The list of distribution channels is not set in stone. Depending on its positioning and the emergence of new platforms, a radio station may decide at any time to add a new channel with its own publication rules.

Podcasting

As with all other kinds of publications, users build a list of audio using click and drag from the NETIA database, then declares it to be publication-ready. Transcoding, (with ID3 tags if necessary) and placing online are carried out following an entirely automatic procedure. Data related to the podcast is automatically extracted from the database and then sent via an XML file to RSS format.

Stream In, automated broadcasting via the Internet

Designed for radios, Stream-In is a full hardware and software solution for both live or delayed broadcasting via the Internet.
This program automatically manages acquisition, conversion, storage and transfer of audio and/or video data to a Web site or broadcasting server. It digitises and encodes the files in either one or two formats (Real Video and/or MPEG4) and then drops them in the targeted Internet server.
The Stream-In settings functions give the technician the ability to accurately specify all the conditions and characteristics of a broadcast: manual or automatic, live or delayed, Web site address, encoding format, type of compression, etc. In automatic mode, the user defines the start time and duration and can also define an external trigger mode (GPI).
Stream-In is a global system integrating all technical and operating requirements. It has a day-by-day event log sent out by e-mail. An automatic watchdog is integrated to detect and warn of any software operating anomaly. In addition, Stream-In manages data storage by means of automatic archiving and purge functions which can be set as required.
