CAPER this year, NETIA will demonstrate Manreo 2, the latest version of its Manreo media asset management (MAM) system which includes powerful new automation and archiving tools to streamline workflow and simply and efficiently repurpose and broadcast content assets to multiple platforms.
Designed with an open, scalable architecture, Manreo 2 has all the tools needed to simplify the cataloging, indexing, accessing and distribution of media. Manreo 2 is designed to maximize productivity gains in asset management and the use of rich media, which in turn can be repurposed and published to platforms such as Web portals and mobile devices. The solution supports all industry-standard formats, ingesting content, generating browse proxies, enriching media through speech-to-text functionality, and providing easy access to media.
Manreo 2 now incorporates the new NETIA Workflow Engine , designed to allow media companies to easily visualize, create and execute their own workflow. NETIA Workflow Engine facilitates and harmonizes exchanges between all existing applications found in a broadcast environment. Accessed via a user-friendly graphic interface, NETIA Workflow Engine orders tasks to optimize efficiency and load balancing, automates content distribution processes, and includes a security warning and notification system.
At CAPER, NETIA will also highlight its Radio-Assist 8.0 range of digital audio automation software, first introduced this year at NAB in Las Vegas. Radio-Assist 8.0 gives instant access to all types of media, archived or online. Regardless of the storage medium, items can be previewed and restored for repurposing and distribution, both for broadcasting and for multi-platform distribution.
By interfacing with NETIA's Media Asset Management system, Radio-Assist 8.0 also responds efficiently to the needs of media groups having to manage and share video, audio, images, and text throughout their entities.
