CLARET, France - Sept. 26, 2006 - NETIA, a leading provider of software solutions for managing and broadcasting radio and television content, today announced the release of a new podcasting module for the company's Radio-AssistTM digital audio content management software. An extension for Radio-Assist's Dispatcher automatic converter software, the new podcasting module permits broadcasters to publish podcasts from media assets within the Radio-AssistTM content database.

" Radio broadcasters need a reliable and efficient means of publishing content via podcasts because it's a quickly growing broadcast platform," said Xavier de Vynck, vice president of business development at NETIA. " People can now decide what content they want to hear and when they want to listen to it, and the new Radio-Assist podcasting module gives broadcasters the tool they need to make content and updates automatically available to listeners on their digital media players."

As with all modules for Radio-AssistTM, the new podcasting module can be implemented easily by broadcasters already using NETIA's Radio-AssistTM software. Users simply install a dedicated PC within their Radio-AssistTM networks, and they are ready to begin publishing their podcasts. The process is highly automated, so content can be published without any human intervention.

The Radio-AssistTM range of digital audio content management software programs covers the entire operation of a radio station. Each stage is covered from acquisition to broadcast, including ingest, sound-file editing, commercial and music production, newsroom system, scheduling, multicasting, and administration. Radio-AssistTM provides simultaneous access to several products, so the user can record, edit, or prepare a playlist with a single application.
