Tunisia's Radio Mosaïque Builds New Broadcast Station on NETIA's Radio-Assist

CLARET, France June 14, 2007 - NETIA today announced that its Radio-AssistTM suite of digital audio software products is being installed by Radio Mosaïque at its new headquarters in Tunis to help optimize workflow, increase production and storage capacity, and ensure the reliability of the station's technical infrastructure. The Tunisian broadcaster will leverage the intuitive, end-to-end functionality of Radio-AssistTM to expand its operations while securing the quality of the services it offers to listeners in Grand Tunis and surrounding areas.

"Our broadcasts reach more than a third of the Tunisian population, and the construction of new facilities gives us the chance to enhance the content we provide that audience while realizing much greater efficiency in our internal workflows," said Marouane GALLAH, technical director at Radio Mosaïque. "With its flexible and scalable suite of modules, Radio-Assist will play a key role in this effort and in the continued growth of our station."

NETIA's Radio-AssistTM range of digital audio software programs covers the entire operation of a radio broadcaster, allowing production staff to record, edit, or prepare playlists while working within a single application. Radio Mosaïque will be using a range of Radio-AssistTM modules including the Air-DDO live-assist broadcast tool, Feder-All Desk daily playlist editor, Stream-In automatic Internet broadcasting system, Insider intranet consultation and exchange system, and Administrator rights management tool within its daily production and playout operations.

The Radio-AssistTM 7.5 Air-DDO broadcast module offers advanced ergonomic and technological features. Spread over two monitor screens, the GUI simultaneously displays the four Radio Mosaïque broadcast channels, with access to numerous help and preparation tools for cueing, on-air monitoring, playlist modification, recording, production, etc. The station is using the Stream-In module to simplify high-quality streaming of audio content to listeners via its Web site at www.mosaiquefm.net, which currently receives 100,000 visits a day and, at any time, serves an average of 3,000 Internet users connected to hear Radio Mosaïque broadcasts.

"The Radio-Assist installation at Radio Mosaïque will not only allow for more tightly integrated operations, but will also provide a highly automated platform for the station's very popular Internet broadcast service," said Xavier De Vynck, NETIA vice president of business development. "By incorporating its operations under the umbrella of Radio-Assist, Radio Mosaïque will be able to focus more of its energies on the quality and creativity of its on-air product."
