The purpose of Webcasting is to retrieve all or part of a radio broadcast on the Web. Understanding the widespread popularity of the Internet, NETIA has been in the position of an important provider in this sector for several years
Radio needs evolve constantly towards more multi-support broadcast. Loyal to this multicast philosophy, the Podcaster module allows to publish the online content very quickly.
After a quick tidy up - if needed - of the sounds, the user builds his playlist of sounds within the same interface with "Clickmove" from the NETIA database, then records it as ready for publication. The transcribing, with or without ID3 TAG, and the online transfer are done via a completely automatic procedure. The datas associated to the podcast are directly extracted from the database, then sent via a XML file in RSS format.
The user has the choice between publishing as many Podcasts as items in the playlist or, automatically merging all sounds into a single Podcast (particularly useful for items flanked by jingles and commercials).
Designed for radios, Stream-In is a full hardware and software solution for both live or delayed broadcasting via the Internet. This program automatically manages acquisition, conversion, storage and transfer of audio and/or video data to a Web site or broadcasting server.
Stream-In captures AES or IP flows (eg music broadcast and voice of the presenter) and if required digitises and encodes them, prior to exporting them in AES or IP high and /or low resolution to the target Internet server.
The Stream-In settings functions give the technician the ability to accurately specify all the conditions and characteristics of a broadcast: manual or automatic, live or delayed, web site address, encoding format, type of compression, etc.
Output effects such as maximiser, equalizer, etc can be applied.
